From June 10 to 13, we attended Velo-City in Gdansk, the flagship event for those involved in cycling development. Once again this year, we had the opportunity to get together with industry players and local authorities to discuss historical and emerging themes.

This year, an entire session was dedicated to the importance of data in the development of cycling policies. Organized and moderated by Agathe Daudibon, from the European Cyclists' Federation, we had the opportunity to present the results of the latest Eurovelo Barometer, and also to share examples of successful urban transformation thanks to data: as in Montreal for rue Saint-Denis, Paris and its metamorphosis, and Lyon.

European Cyclists Federation 2025 Awards
We were honored to support the ECF Awards again this year, and to present the prize for "Best Cycling Progress" to the city of Stockholm, in recognition of their remarkable efforts to promote and facilitate cycling.
As ECF notes:
"The city of Stockholm has recorded a remarkable 18% increase in bicycle traffic between 2023 and 2024, according to measurements taken at 19 sites. This growth reflects a steady increase throughout the year, and is underpinned by investments in bike lanes, bike parking and winter maintenance of the network. Notable initiatives include the modernization of 90 km of regional roads and the Bike2Green project, a mileage-based incentive program for commuters. The city's long-term regional cycling plan aims to double the modal share of cycling to 20% by 2030."

A special data workshop for Polish local authorities
We also had the opportunity to lead a special session with Olivier Schneider, Director of the FIMA endowment fund (active mobility innovation fund) and former President of the Fédération des Usagers de la Bicyclette (FUB - the French national lobby for bicycle development), to provide Polish local authorities with our expertise in deploying a national data-sharing platform in Poland, based on the model we have set up for the Réseau Vélo & Marche and French local authorities.
The traditional Bike Parade
As every year, the traditional Bike Parade brought together cyclists from all horizons for a route through the city of Gdansk and a joyful celebration of cycling culture!
