Since 1997, Eco-Counter has developed unique and innovative solutions to count pedestrians and cyclists. Although knowing the numbers is the end goal, the system we use depends on the site – counting pedestrians downtown is quite different from counting them on mountain trails. This is why we have created specific products for the diverse environments that our clients work in.
Eco-Counter provides turn-key solutions for cyclist and pedestrian counting and data analysis. We offer a complete range of products and services to collect and analyze data, including high-quality counters, automatic and wireless data transmission, remote reading, and Eco-Visio, a professional online data analysis software, and in-depth exportable reports.
Eco-Counter designs and manufactures a wide-variety of solutions for bicycle and pedestrian counting. Reliable, accurate and robust, our counters are developed to enable you to precisely count bicycles and pedestrians in every configuration.
From autonomous systems to real-time sensors, we can provide the right turn-key solution for your project.
With local offices in France, Canada and Germany, Eco-Counter is a human-sized company where everyone shares the values of high-quality, hard work, and the desire for a more bike and pedestrian friendly world. Eco-Counter is regularly rewarded for its quality of life at work and for the performance of its products and innovations.
We develop and manufacture our products in France before testing them all over the world.
From Vancouver to New York, the Alps to New Zealand, our durable, battery-powered temporary and permanent counters are trusted around the world.
Discover case studies, best-practice guides and technical studies from our work with leading bike and pedestrian organizations. Explore the latest monthly bike count trends by country with our interactive dashboard tracking the growth of cycling around the world.

Creating automatic reports
The report function in Eco-Visio allows you to download a PDF summary overview of your bike and pedestrian count data in just a few clicks.
The PDF report function is the quickest way to share a summary of your data and is perfect for collaborating with key stakeholders and partners.
1. Step One – You likely know this part already. Log in to your Eco-Visio account!
2. Click on the “Report” button on your Home Page, or the “Report” icon on the sidebar, whenever you are ready to export a dashboard.
3. Customize your PDF report by adjusting your dashboards to fit your reporting needs.
You can combine multiple dashboards into one and choose the view between landscape and portrait.
4. After the report has been validated, click on “Download”.
And that is how your PDF report is ready to be shared!
Sharing Dashboards
While on the Dashboard page, you’ll notice the familiar sharing icon in the top right corner.
By clicking on it, you’ll be given the option to allow users in your domain to copy this dashboard to their accounts.
Simply toggle the switch, and anyone on your domain will be able to access it under their “Shared Dashboards”.
Voilà! Now they have their own copy and can interact with it without affecting your original dashboard.
