The Eco-Counter Montreal office is currently looking for a Client Consultant to work on projects with our clients in the USA and Canada. Eco-Counter’s clients range from some of the most progressive cities in the development of active transportation to picturesque natural areas. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of dynamic team in growing field, working on projects with purpose and truly seeing the impact of your work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Develop Eco-Counter’s presence in the North American market
– Generate new business through prospecting actions and quick responses to incoming requests
– Guide prospects and clients toward the best adapted solution for their data needs
– Serve as the client’s first point of contact for installation and support questions
– Generate new opportunities by participating in conferences, webinars, and trade shows
– Creatively contribute to the overall efficiency of the Eco-Counter team
Requirements:
– University degree in relevant field (environmental science, outdoor recreation, planning, or business)
– Experience in consulting, sales, account management or business development
– Strong communication skills in both English and French
– Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly and effectively in-person or virtually
– Interest in outdoor recreation, active transportation, and natural areas
– Capacity to travel in the United States and Canada (5-10 times/year)
Required personal skills:
– Highly motivated and driven individual that is eager to learn
– Actively listens client needs and identifies potential opportunities
– Comfortable managing multiple priorities, timelines, and diverse projects
– Enjoys creative problem-solving and continuous improvement to processes and operations
– Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
