We are excited to share a significant step in the development and presence of Eco-Counter in Australia: the launch of Eco-Counter PTY, our new subsidiary in Australia, and a strategic partnership with Active Travel Insights to enhance our solutions worldwide.

Introducing Eco-Counter PTY

To better serve our Australian customers, we have established Eco-Counter PTY, our new Australian subsidiary. This step builds on over 15 years of successful collaboration with Jamie Seeleither and Outdoor Counters, whom we sincerely thank for his dedication in deploying our solutions across Australia! With this subsidiary, we are now even better equipped to provide to meet the needs of our Australian customers.

Strategic Partnership with Active Travel Insights

We are also proud to announce our partnership with Active Travel InsightsAustralia's complete solution for Active Travel dataBy combining Eco-Counter’s proven counting technology with Active Travel Insights' expertise in floating data (such as See.Sense data providing GPS traces and sensor insights), we can offer deeper, more comprehensive insights into cyclist behavior and visitor flows—whether in urban or natural environments.

What This Means

  • Enhanced Local Support: Our new subsidiary ensures dedicated technical and field assistance, particularly for our Australian partners, while reinforcing our global service network.
  • Innovative Data Solutions: This collaboration expands our ability to deliver , helping you make informed decisions for planning and infrastructure.

Meet the Team

Irene & Philip McAleese, co-founder of Active Travel Insights, will lead sales, bringing their vision and expertise in building strong, long-term partnerships. Derek Yates, who joined Eco-Counter in 2022 as a support specialist, has relocated to Australia to provide on-field assistance and ensure .
